当院のある日の会話
ギックリ腰で治療に来られたW様
一回目の治療で徐々に状態が回復し
その三日後の二回目の治療の時は仕事に支障が出ない状態まで回復していたので
治療終了と思いましたが
念の為二週間後に予約をとられました。
で治療当日予約の時間になりました…
しかし、時間になっても現れないW様が心配になり
電話をしてみることに
W様『もしもーし！お疲れ様でーす！』
と元気な何時ものW様
私『あの～W様、今日予約が～』
W様『あー❗️、すいません❗️忘れてました❗️いやーあれから腰全開に良くなってバリバリ仕事してたので腰の事すっかり忘れてました。』
私『そうでしたか～^ ^じゃあ良くなったんですね！良かったです。』
この時、私はふと何時も患者さんに言ってる言葉を思い出しました。
それは『忘れて下さい』です。
その症状は貴方が気にすればするほどまとわりつきますよ。（勿論治療をしているという前提）
だから忘れる努力をしてみて下さいと言います。
全てでは無いですけど慢性的な症状に感しては特にそうです。
W様、腰が楽になったようで安心しました。
お仕事がしっかり出来るようにメンテナンスは忘れないで下さいね^ ^
