免疫力のしくみ

最近、インフルエンザや風邪等で体調を崩されている方が多いようです。
今日はウイルスや病原菌が体内に入ってきた時に身体の中で何が起こっているのかをお話してみます。
先ず、ウイルスや病原菌が体内に侵入すると免疫細胞のマクロファージがいち早く見つけ活動を開始します
マクロファージはウイルスや病原菌を消化酵素で分解するのですが、完全には分解せず中途半端で吐き出します。
何故かと言うと、他の免疫細胞にウイルスや病原菌との戦いが始まった事を知らせる為なのです！
すると、先程中途半端に吐き出したウイルスの破片を今度はリンパ球のＴ細胞が見つけて、
体内の全免疫系にウイルスや病原菌を退治する為の戦闘命令を発令するのです。
すると身体はウイルスや病原菌を弱体化させ、免疫細胞を活性化させるために体温を上昇させます。
これが『発熱』です。
免疫細胞が戦闘を開始して数日経つと今度はリンパ球のB細胞が抗体を作ります。
B細胞がウイルスや病原菌を撃破して行きます。
撃破されたウイルスや病原菌の残骸はマクロファージが食べてくれます。
マクロファージはウイルスや病原菌を食べ続け死に『膿となります』
こうして、数日でウイルスや病原菌との戦いが終了するのです。
良く傷口からバイ菌等が入り化膿したという経験の方多いと思います。
あの時出てきた膿は必死で菌と戦ってくれた証なのです！
ここで大事な事は、常に免疫力が働いている証だという事を知り
むやみに痛み止め、解熱剤等に頼り過ぎず、
ご自分の免疫力が正常に機能するよう心掛けておきましょう。
